Insight
We focus on awareness and understanding of M&E building services planning and deliver practical hands-on support for the integration of this into the construction environment. Our methods and work products are described in our Programme Development & Monitoring section, and detailed in our Guide to M&E Building Services Planning manual.
Our Knowledge Management section provides a number of programme and progress monitoring schedule examples that can be downloaded for free. We can tailor these to suit your requirements at a low cost, because in development terms 70% of the content can be downloaded from the website for free, the other 30% adapts the schedule to the users requirements. The subsequent progress data entries can be inputted either by us or by yourselves.
The working arrangements that we enter into with our clients for the services we provide are as follows:
Programme Development:
1. Assignment basis – An estimated number of days to accomplish a specific task.
2. Day rate – When continuous involvement is necessary with client's staff.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
3. Day rate – When site visits are required to collate information
4. Fee basis – When progress information is transmitted electronically without site visits
Progress Schedule Development:
5. Day rate – When the development information is not available
6. Fee basis - When the development information is available
Proposals:
Over the past six years we have established a core business providing work product assignments for clients.
We are now also proposing to form associations and flexible arrangements with those interested in adopting our techniques in a more expansive manner, to suit their own development or business requirements.
We have identified several overview proposals that you may find of interest for further discussion:

1. The incorporation of our work products as an enhancement to your company procedure
• Critical M&E services overview
• Key progress schedule format/interfaces stipulated at tender stage
• Live project comparison
2. Our progress monitoring schedules tailored for your requirements
• Live project tracking schedules and projections
• Project specific stand alone progress schedule development
• Electronic transmittal of information – not regular site visiting
• Progress schedule development – traffic light format including weighting & progress values
• Critical M&E services planning and integration into main construction programmes
4. Individual mentoring/support for development of M&E building services planning techniques
• Further elaboration regarding our planning manual and the above content
• Possible support for live projects - electronic transmittal of information
The idea of these proposals is to discuss a development format with interested parties regarding what would work in their best interests and take it forward from there.
We also have the potential to support or provide project planning and control services for all building works incorporating the M&E building services programme with structures/finishes works.
